4th Annual Hops & Crops

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!  Please check back on this news feed and our social media accounts to learn about upcoming special events.

Celebrate autumn’s harvest and meet local growers as you taste what this quintessential New England season has to offer!

Join us on Tuesday, November 6th for the 4th Annual Hops & Crops farm-to-fork dinner with beer pairings provided by local craft brewer, Night Shift Brewing, from Everett, MA. An extended cocktail hour will feature passed and stationed hors d’oeuvres where guests can meet Gibbet Hill Grill Chef, Tom Fosnot, and learn about how he keeps up with abundance of produce growing on Gibbet Hill Farm. Our own Gibbet Hill Farm manager, Kayleigh Boyle, will join other local growers to share their experiences of growing and producing food in New England.

After the cocktail hour, commune with other guests during a thoughtfully prepared family-style dinner. To top off this special dinner event, Night Shift Brewing will showcase their Massachusetts-brewed craft beer, carefully selecting each brew to match the cuisine. Meet a member of the brewing crew as they explain the methods of creating their high quality craft beer, brewed locally using fresh ingredients and inspired by traditional brewing techniques and styles.

2018 Farmers Dinner Series

We are pleased to bring back our annual farm-to-fork dinners! We bring the fork to the farm. Farm dinners will be conducted on the farm, right alongside our crops.  The dates for this year’s dinners are July 11, July 25, August 8, August 22, and September 5.  Please click here for tickets.

MENU
Our chef will start planning the menu just a day or so ahead of time, after determining which vegetables and fruits are ready for harvest. Due to the nature of this type of menu planning, we may not have a finalized menu until the day of the dinner. We can accommodate allergies, but with the style of this dinner, we will not know the modifications in advance. This dinner is an adventure and will primarily showcase items coming off our farm. Dinner will be four courses (three courses, in a combination of family style and plated, plus cocktail hour tastes.) Beverages will be provided and will include beer, wine and soft drinks.

PLAN YOUR VISIT
Seats are very limited for this event, as we will only be hosting up to 40 guests per dinner. Be sure to wear appropriate shoes, as this dinner will be held on the farm grounds. (Assistance will be provided for anyone unable to navigate the dirt road to the farm tables.) Guests will be invited to tour the farm and maybe even harvest some of the evening’s dinner!

FINE PRINT
The dinners will be held rain or shine, held on the deck of the Barn at Gibbet Hill if weather is inclement. The cost per person is $130 and includes four course meal (three seated courses and cocktail hour tastes), all beverages, tax, and gratuity.
