Thanksgiving 2021 at Gibbet Hill

We are pleased to announce our Thanksgiving dining options at Gibbet Hill for 2021.

THE GRILL

We are fully booked for reservations at Gibbet Hill Grill, but please note that we do have seats at the bar and lounge for walk-in guests that are available first come, first served.

The Grill will be offering a 3-course prix-fixe menu (menu coming soon, and will include a traditional turkey dinner option). Children’s menu will be available.

Seatings 12:00-7:00; parties of up to 14 guests.

THE BARN

The Barn will offer a family-style dinner for parties of 6 or more. $60 per person; $20 per child ages 4-12; children ages 3 and under free.

DAY-OF A LA CARTE THANKSGIVING TAKEOUT

If you are interested in placing a takeout order for Thanksgiving Day, we will begin taking orders on Thursday, November 18th at 12:00pm. Orders will be very limited in number, once our pick up schedule has been filled, we will stop taking new orders.  Pickups will be from 12:30-6:30 on Thursday, November 25th.  PLEASE CALL THE GRILL DIRECTLY FOR DAY-OF A LA CARTE THANKSGIVING TAKEOUT ORDERS: (978) 448-2900.


GIBBET HILL THANKSGIVING AT HOME

This year we are pleased to offer Gibbet Hill Thanksgiving At Home: large format takeout orders of traditional turkey dinner and fixings served in catering trays. All orders will come with simple heat & serve instructions. Order one of each, or only what you need to make your day easier on Thanksgiving!

Spiced Cranberry Gimlet, Fall Sangria, and our house 10 Year Punch are all available (each container makes 8 cocktails) to complete your order.  Just add ice!

7th Annual Hops & Crops

Celebrate autumn’s harvest as you enjoy autumn cuisine highlighting what this quintessential New England season has to offer!

Join us on Thursday, November 4th for the 7th Annual Hops & Crops farm-to-fork dinner with beer pairings provided by Mighty Squirrel Brewing Co.

An extended cocktail hour will feature passed and stationed hors d’oeuvres where guests can meet Gibbet Hill Grill executive chef, Chef Rhiannon Brown, and learn about how we keep up with abundance of produce growing on Gibbet Hill Farm. A Gibbet Hill Farm manager will be on hand to discuss growing practices on the farm and working with the chefs and culinary teams of Webber Restaurant Group. Additional local growers and producers joining us for the cocktail hour will include Little Leaf FarmsMuddy Water Coffee Roasters, Hollis Hills Farm, and D&M Mushrooms. 

After the cocktail hour, commune with other guests during a thoughtfully prepared family-style dinner. To top off this special dinner event, a representative from Mighty Squirrel will showcase their locally-brewed craft beer, carefully selecting each brew to match the cuisine. Meet a member of the brewing crew as they explain the methods of creating their high quality, locally brewed, craft beer.

Gibbet Hill Farm Field School Fall Schedule

Join us on the farm for a variety of workshops featuring produce and other items found on our farm.


SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 25

Learn how to can and preserve farm vegetables. Harvest farm fresh veggies with a member of the Gibbet Hill Farm team and then work with Gibbet Hill Grill’s Executive Chef, Rhi Brown, to learn how to prepare and preserve your harvest.  Students bring home their own canned produce to enjoy at a later date. 

Price per person includes a thoughtfully prepared, snack box of crudite, dips, and breads.

The class will be held rain or shine on the farm. Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather, and wear shoes appropriate for the weather and sturdy enough for walking in and around the farm. Tools will be provided for hands-on activities, but please bring gloves that is your preference for garden work.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER: DATE AND TIME TBD

Stroll throughout the Gibbet Hill farm property with local forager, David Craft, to learn about the various and interesting food at your feet. Later enjoy a thoughtfully prepared snack box of crudites, dips, and breads, which will include some of these delicious wild edibles, prepared by Gibbet Hill Grill’s Chef Rhiannon Brown. 

The class will be held rain or shine on the farm. Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather, and wear shoes appropriate for the weather and sturdy enough for walking in and around the farm. Tools will be provided for hands-on activities, but please bring gloves that is your preference for garden work.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23

Join us for a unique farm workshop showcasing wool that was sheared from our own Gibbet Hill sheep. 2D needle felting is process of applying carded wool onto fabric to create a piece of art, ‘painting with wool’.

In this workshop, participants will work with raw wool to learn the steps involved in processing the wool so that it is suitable for needle felting. Afterwards, participants will create a ‘painting’ with the carded wool. All supplies will be provided.

For ages 12 and over, however due to the sharpness of the needles used in the felting process, we request that children be supervised by an adult.

Price per person includes a thoughtfully prepared, snack box of crudite, dips, and breads.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 13

Herbal tea is soothing to the soul. Gibbet Hill Bartender and Herbalist, Amanda Rankin, will instruct students on the basics of blending their own tea using herbs that were grown and dried at Gibbet Hill Farm.

Students will take home a tin filled with their own blend of tea made in class.

Snacks and beverage provided (hot beverages and sweets), in addition to sipping tea samples.
